Sales Engineer

Job Duties:

Coordinate and manage the sale of Akshar IT Solutions LLC services, including consulting, training, integration, data migration, project management, and enterprise support, utilizing CRM such as Salesforce and HubSpot, and ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle NetSuite. Evaluate clients business needs and recommend tailored IT solutions to address specific requirements and objectives using business analysis tools such as MS Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, and Confluence. Communicate the value proposition of company solutions using MS PowerPoint, Prezi, Tableau, Power BI, and other data visualization and analytical tools. Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept sessions for prospective and existing clients using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and demo environments. Gather, analyze, and interpret client feedback using survey tools such as Qualtrics and SurveyMonkey, along with Excel and Google Analytics, to support product development and improvement initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies and project collaboration platforms such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Slack, and Microsoft Teams to resolve technical challenges and enhance solution offerings. Develop and respond to proposals, RFPs, and client-specific solution designs by integrating technical and business requirements using MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and proposal automation tools such as RFPIO and Loopio. Identify, categorize, and assess client information using SQL databases, Excel, Power BI, and other analytical software to support business decision-making. Engage in technical discussions with client staff regarding system design, development, and operations, applying knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), AI, cybersecurity tools, and software development methodologies. Maintain and strengthen relationships with key client decision-makers using CRM tools such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM, and HubSpot to ensure successful deployment of solutions. Provide training, guidance, and coaching to internal teams and clients using LMS platforms such as TalentLMS and Moodle, along with training materials to improve understanding of services and solutions. Contribute to sales strategy, planning, and development of persuasive solution architectures tailored to client needs, leveraging strategic planning tools and frameworks. Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, training guides, and other resources using Confluence, MS Word, SharePoint, and documentation management systems. Monitor industry trends in cloud computing, AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, ERP/CRM systems, and software development methodologies, and share insights to drive innovation. Cultivate partnerships with industry leaders, vendors, and technology providers to expand the client base and explore new business opportunities. Conduct post-deployment follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and implement improvements using customer feedback platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk, and Qualtrics. Collaborate with internal teams to align technical solutions with client requirements and company objectives through Agile project management and DevOps collaboration tools. Evaluate competitor offerings, industry standards, and emerging technologies using market research tools such as Crunchbase, Gartner reports, and Statista to enhance Akshar IT Solutions market positioning and competitive advantage.

Job Requirements:

At least a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience working as a Sales Engineer, Sales Application Engineer, Technical Marketing Engineer, or closely related positions. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. In lieu of the above, we also accept a Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related plus 2 years of experience. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience should include at least Two (2) years of experience in working with cross-functional teams; monitoring industry trends; market research; post-deployment follow-ups; working with Agile/Scrum methodologies; working on CRM; Salesforce; HubSpot; ERP systems; SAP; Oracle NetSuite; Jira; Confluence; Tableau; Power BI; Data visualization; AWS; Azure; Google Cloud; Gartner reports; Statista; DevOps.

Hours:

40 hours per week, M-F, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
