Project Manager
Job Duties:
1. Gather, preprocess, and cleanse data from disparate sources—including APIs, spreadsheets, and databases—to prepare for analysis; perform data validation and quality checks on master datasets using Server to ensure data integrity and consistency.
2. Facilitate Agile project methodologies including sprint planning, maintaining product backlog, monitoring development progress, tracking sprint deliverables, and conducting sprint review sessions.
3. Responsible for change requests and feedback through IT service tools including ServiceNow; conduct collaborative requirement elicitation sessions using Lucidchart for documentation.
4. Create dashboards using Tableau, applying advanced features such as calculated fields, parameters, and sets; work on analytical reports using SQL and Excel pivot tables.
5. Support data science teams by transforming and structuring client-supplied data using Python, SQL, and Excel Pivot Tables for analytical reporting ; automate recurring data tasks via Python scripts.
6. Work on functional gap analysis and data mapping; architect data access structures to support system integration.
7. Provide Tier-1 support via ServiceNow; lead UAT sessions and document testing results.
8. Develop and maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, and governance documentation to ensure consistency across projects.
9. Automate recurring reports and data workflows using Python scripts and SQL queries to improve operational efficiency.
10. Monitor project KPIs and metrics, prepare executive-level dashboards and status reports for stakeholders.
11. Conduct risk assessments and assist in mitigation planning for data-related projects.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure data integrity across platforms.
13. Lead workshops and training sessions for junior analysts on tools, processes, and methodologies.
14. Evaluate new data tools, software, and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
15.Support budgeting and project management tasks including tracking expenses, resource allocation, and reporting using Excel (advanced functions), MS Project, Tableau, and SQL.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience working as a Project Manager; Business Intelligence Analyst; Business Analyst; Data Scientist, Project Management Specialist; or closely related positions. In lieu of the above, we also accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management or a closely related field plus 2 years of experience. Foreign degree equivalent is acceptable. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience. Experience should include at least Two (2) years of working on data cleansing; data validation; data mapping; system integration; UAT; Agile methodologies; analytical reports; automation; functional gap analysis; ServiceNow; Lucidchart; Tableau; SQL; and Excel pivot tables.
Hours:
40 hours per week, M-F, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
